Description
Allegra-D is an antihistamine and decongestant combination used to relieve congestion, sneezing, and watery eyes due to colds, flu, or hay fever. Allegra-D works against the naturally occurring chemic
al histamine in the body. Fexofenadine prevents sneezing; runny nose; itching, watery eyes; and other allergic symptoms. ?Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant. It constricts (shrinks) blood vessels (vein
s and arteries). By decreasing blood flow, it decreases congestion. Allegra ( Fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine ) is used to relieve symptoms of allergic conditions.

Special warnings about this medication
PregnancyˇXHydroxyzine is not recommended for use in the first months of pregnancy since it has been shown to cause birth defects in animal studies when given in doses many times higher than the usual
human dose. Be sure you have discussed this with your doctor.
Desloratadine and fexofenadine have not been studied in pregnant women. However, studies in animals have shown that these medicin
