How should you take this medication?
Cyclobenzaprine comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It usually is taken two to four times a day. Do not take this drug for more than 3 weeks without talking to your doctor. Follow the directions on yo
ur prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take cyclobenzaprine exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more o
ften than prescribed by your doctor.

What side effects may occur?
Although side effects from cyclobenzaprine are not common, they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away: - drowsiness - dry mouth - dizzin
ess - upset stomach If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately: - - severe skin rash - swelling of the face or tongue - difficulty
breathing or swallowing - irregular heart rate - chest pain - fever - seizures

What is this Drug
Cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxant, is used with rest, physical therapy, and other measures to relax muscles and relieve pain and discomfort caused by strains, sprains, and other muscle injuries.

Other Medicines
Serious, potentially fatal reactions may occur if you take Flexeril with an antidepressant drug known as an MAO inhibitor (such as Nardil, Parnate) or if it has been less than 2 weeks since you last t
ook an MAO inhibitor. You should closely follow your doctor's advice regarding discontinuation of MAO inhibitors before taking Flexeril. Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking Flexeril. If Flexeril is
taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Flexeril with the following: Bar
biturates such as phenobarbital Guanethidine and other high blood pressure drugs Other drugs that slow the central nervous system, such as Halcion and Xanax Tramadol (Ultram)
