Proper Use of This Medicine
Flexeril may be taken with or without food. Flexeril should be used only for short periods (no more than 3 weeks). Since the type of injury that Flexeril treats should improve in a few weeks, there is
no reason to use it for a longer period. Flexeril may cause dry mouth. Sucking a hard candy, chewing gum, or melting ice chips in your mouth can provide temporary relief.

Precautions while Using this Medicine
This medicine will add to the effects of alcohol and other CNS depressants (medicines that slow down the nervous system, possibly causing drowsiness). Some examples of CNS depressants are antihistamin
es or medicine for hay fever, other allergies, or colds; sedatives, tranquilizers, or sleeping medicine; prescription pain medicine or narcotics; barbiturates; medicine for seizures; other muscle rela
xants; or anesthetics, including some dental anesthetics. Check with your doctor before taking any of the above while you are using this medicine

Before Using This Medicine
Before taking cyclobenzaprine, - tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking cyclobenzaprine, call your doctor im
mediately. - you should know that this drug may make you drowsy. Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how cyclobenzaprine affects you. - remember that alcohol can add to th
