Steroids can slow down growth in children, so your doctor will monitor the situation carefully if your child is using this drug. Steroids can suppress your immune system, leaving you more vu
lnerable to infection. Take extra care to avoid exposure to measles or chickenpox if you have never had them. If you are exposed, seek medical advice immediately. For the same reason, if you
develop a throat or nose infection while using Nasonex, stop taking it and call your doctor. Use Nasonex with caution--if at all--if you suffer from tuberculosis, herpes simplex infection of the eye,
or an untreated fungal, bacterial, or viral infection.

Overdose
Acne; blurred vision; bone fractures; excess hair growth in females; fullness or rounding of the face, neck, and trunk; high blood pressure; impotence in males ; increased urination or thirst;
lack of menstrual periods; menstrual changes; muscle wasting and weakness

Precautions Before Using This Medicine
Breast-feeding¡XUse of dexamethasone is not recommended in nursing mothers, since dexamethasone passes into breast milk and may affect the infant's growth. It is not known whether beclomethasone, b
desonide, flunisolide, Nasonex or triamcinolone passes into breast milk. Although most medicines pass into breast milk in small amounts, many of them may be used safely while breast-feeding. Levels of
mometasone are not measurable in breast milk, thus exposure is expected to be low. Mothers who are taking these medicines and wish to breast-feed should discuss them with their doctor.

How to Use

Description

nd discomfort of hay fever, other allergies, and other nasal problems. These medicines are also used to prevent nasal polyps from growing back after they have been removed by surgery.
